Free jazz troupe SeFa LoCo is back, this time as a quintet, with trumpet master Hugh Ragin. Their newest release is an unbridled journey into territories unknown, in keeping with the spirit of the Casper, Wyoming based Creative Music Series that spawned the group.

Saxophonist Bret Sexton and guitarist Farrell Lowe are longtime contributors to the Denver-Boulder experimental music community. Bassist Mike Facey is a veteran performer and session musician. Percussionist and composer Ron Coulter, who curated the Series, has toured three continents with a wide array of ensembles. Ragin has extensive jazz credits, including the Art Ensemble of Chicago. All have been prolific in performing, writing and recording new music.

Together, SeFa LoCo forges a rare chemistry that transcends its members' varied backgrounds and experiences.
